Handicare Mini-lift 200

Handicare Mini-lift 200

The Mini Lift 200 is widely recognised by therapists and users alike as having the most comfortable lift of any sit/stand patient lifts on the market today. The Mini Lift 200 is designed to assist users with reduced mobility and physical strength, who are unable to raise themselves by use of their own force. Users must have both a degree of lower limb function and stability above the knees. Unlike conventional stand lifts, the Mini Lift 200 raises the user in a natural rising mode, lifting comfortably from the lumbar area, freeing the arms and shoulders from any pull or strain. There is no slippage under the arms. The Mini Lift 200 model is very compact and is the preferred choice for home care where limited space is often a deciding factor.

Accessories:

Slings are available in S – XL.
With arm holders: eg. suitable for stroke patients
The slings have a rear outside pocket for the carer to hand adjust the position of the sling. Non-slip material on the rear inside prevents sling slippage. Made from cotton and polyester.
Calf Strap & Brackets:
Calf strap keeps user’s legs in position on foot plate and gives additional lower limb support. The calf strap bracket attaches to the knee pad unit.

Features:

  • Highly compact (small turning radius)
  • User hand grips with rubberized covers
  • Side bars as an alternative hand grip
  • Soft knee pads that are tiltable and adjustable (height and depth)

User Advantages:

  • Unique lifting mode: Because of the low pivotal point, the user is lifted up and across in a natural rising action. The pull is from lumbar area. Sling does not ride up under arms.
  • Can raise the user to an upright standing position if user is able to stand supported with the help of a sling.
  • Exercises user’s leg muscles and balance. An active form of transfer.
  • User is transferred in a standing/semi-standing position. A dignified form of transfer.

Carer Advantages:

  • Removes risk of back injury to carers that can arise from incorrect lifting techniques during patient transfer.
  • Quick and easy transfer. Replaces unnecessary full sling transfers made in a mobile hoist/lift.
  • Rounded side bars: Easy for carer to manoeuvre lift with. Secure handle bars for user to stand between and to hold on to.
  • Easy to manoeuvre: Weight load of user centrally positioned on foot plate.
