Molift – Easy Raiser Sling

The Molift Easy Raiser Sling is a padded sling which has been developed for active lifting using the Molift Quick Raiser. It provides perfect lumbar support and is the very best choice for lifting and moving from sitting-to-sitting. The sling is quickly and simply fitted to the user and the design of the sling makes it perfect for toilet situations. A slide-proof coating is applied to the inside of the Molift Easy Raiser, which prevents the sling from sliding up. The high back distributes weight and pressure evenly across a large area and the waist belt provides additional support and stability.

The Molift East Sling is our most popular sold sling and can be used in most lifting situations. It is available with and without a head support. Slings with head support are recommended for lifts from the lying position. There is fixed-in-place padding for the back and legs, which makes the sling more comfortable for users. It distributes weight and pressure evenly and reduces the likelihood that the sling will pinch or in other ways be uncomfortable against the user’s skin. The anatomical design reflects the natural arching of the back, making the sling comfortable and preventing users from sliding out of position.

Molift Easy slings are designed to achieve correct positioning from lying-to-sitting and vice versa by the shoulder loops on the sling gliding naturally into position during the lift. The user can, where required, be locked in the upright sitting position which can be a practical alternative when moving from sitting-to-sitting, for example to toilets. There are a number of leg loop positions, which allows the user to assume a more relined sitting position and therefore provides more support and stability.

The simple and unique folding technique means that nurses only need to use one hand during the critical phase of sling fitting, leaving the other hand free to support the user.

Molift – Easy Amputee Sling

Molift Easy Amputee Sling is designed for safe, comfortable transfers of users with single or bi-lateral amputation. Compared to a regular Molift Easy Sling the opening around the seat area is reduced, and also the leg parts are custom made for amputees.

Twin belt system
Two buckles on the waist band secure an even distribution of pressure and the ability to tighten properly increasing safety and stability.

Molift – Basic Sling

The Molift Basic Sling has the same shape and size as the Molift Easy Sling, but has no padding. It can be used in most lifting and moving situations, but is particularly suitable where the padding makes fitting the sling difficult, such as lifting and moving from wheelchair or armchair molded seats.

Molift Basic Easy slings are designed to achieve correct positioning from lying-to-sitting and vice versa by the shoulder loops on the sling gliding naturally into position during the lift. The shoulder loops have an extra loop which prevents the sling from sliding, allowing the user to be locked in the upright sitting position. This function is particularly well suited to situations where the user is moved from sitting-to-sitting, for example from chair to toilet. There are a number of leg positions, which allows the user to assume a more reclined sitting position, providing more support and stability.

The Molift Basic Sling is available with and without head support. Slings with head support are recommended for lifts from the lying position.

Molift – Patient Specific Sling

The Molift Specific Sling is designed to avoid the risk of transferring infections which can arise when several patients share a sling. The sling should accompany the patient throughout their entire stay. The sling is to be discarded in accordance with relevant procedures when soiled or when the patient no longer requires the sling. Should the sling be subjected to any type of fluid, the inner white fabric will change to a blue, alerting the care giver that the sling should be replaced immediately. It is not designed to be washed and re-used.

The Molift Patient Specific Sling is padded top provide the patient with a comfortable lift and is at the same time east to fit. The sling has the same shape and size as the Molift Easy Sling. It is in addition made from environmentally friendly materials. Patients are ensured comfortable and hygienic lifting and moving, without the environment being exposed to the additional harm that disposable products often inflict.

Molift – Easy Toilet Sling

Lifting and transferring users to and from the toilet can be the most difficult and least dignified lift.

Compared to a regular sling the lifting points are positioned differently - from the thighs and seat to the hollow of the knees and high on the chest to obtain the necessary opening around the seat area to adjust clothing.

The Molift Basic Bathing Sling is a sling with no padding, which is designed for use in showers, bath tubs and swimming pools. It is made from polyester mesh which is very comfortable against the skin and allows quick drying. Molift Basic Bathing Slings are designed for achieve correct positioning from lying-to-sitting and vice versa by the shoulder loops on the sling gliding naturally into position during the lift. The shoulder loops have an extra loop which allows the sling to be locked in the upright sitting position. The leg loops can also be shortened to give a more reclined sitting position.

Molift – Hammock Sling

The Molift Hammock Sling provides a comfortable fully supported sitting position. It adapts to body form and the user can remain on the sling after lifting and moving has been completed.

This type of sling normally should be tailored to the individual user’s requirements. It is made of a comfortable polyester mesh net which allows body moisture and heat to breath freely through the material.

The Molift Hammock Sling can be accompanied with a removable fleece or wool lining that is soft and gentle on the skin.
