Barton Convertible H-Series

The Barton Convertible H-250 multi-positional chair helps provide a no-lift solution for patient transfers in a safe, dignified environment for both patient and caregiver. Easily converting between a stretcher and an upright mobile chair in seconds, the Barton Convertible H-250 enables caregivers to comfortably transfer and transport a patient weighing up to 250 pounds. The Convertible H-250 adapts from stretcher to transport chair with an infinite number of positions available, including recline, Tilt-in –Space and Trendelenburg capabilities. Design innovations include a fully adjustable headrest, heavy-duty steel frame, and optional scale to make weighing mobility-impaired patients easy, safe, and comfortable.

Dramatic advances in medical technologies have been made in recent years. However, the difficult and awkward process of transferring a patient from bed to chair and back again is still a strenuous and dangerous process that frequently results in injury to both patient and caregiver.

1. Place chair at bed side in horizontal position.
2. Attach sheet to the Barton PTS.
3. Transfer patient by turning handle.
4. Incline chair and you’re ready to go!
